Eligibility for NDA
The NDA exam is conducted for candidates aspiring to join the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force through the National Defence Academy (NDA). The eligibility criteria for this course are as follows:
1. Age Limit:
- Candidates must be between 16.5 and 19.5 years of age at the time of admission.
2. Educational Qualification:
- For the Army Wing: Candidates must have passed or be appearing for their 12th-grade examination from a recognized board in any stream.
- For the Air Force and Naval Wings: Candidates must have studied Physics and Mathematics in their 12th-grade examination.
3. Physical Fitness:
- Candidates must meet the medical and physical standards set by the NDA selection board.
- Vision, height, weight, and overall fitness will be assessed during the selection process.
4. Nationality:
- Candidates must be Indian nationals or subjects of Nepal or Tibetan refugees who came to India before January 1, 1962.
5. Gender:
- Only male candidates are eligible for NDA admission.
